Mr. Cummings is a 1970 graduate of the Universityof Notre Dame (BBA);
and a 1973
 graduate
of the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School (JD).
He has been admitted to practice in New York State since 1974
and in the Federal District Court (WDNY) since 1975. He has over
30 years experience representing injured workers at all levels
of the NYS Workers' Compensation system, including
administrative and judicial appeals. For the same period of
time, Mr. Cummings has successfully represented claimants at all
stages of the Social Security Disability process, including
appeals to the Federal District Court.
Mr. Cummings has been associated with the WNY Workers
Compensation Coalition(and its predecessor, the WNY Workmen's
Compensation Council) a union related association since 1974. He
is the sole Niagara County representative for this organization,
protecting the Workers' Compensation rights of over 6,000
Niagara County Union members.
The segue to a significant personal injury practice was a
natural consequence of the constant interaction with injured
workers and their families. These same clients have long
entrusted their real estate, will preparation and probate
matters to Mr. Cummings, who also counts the area's largest
Federal Credit Union among his real estate clientele.
Mr. Cummings is a member of the NYS Bar Association, Injured
Workers' Bar Association and the National Organization of Social
Security Claimant's Representatives, among other professional
